KP Gallery is home to the art of Patricia Nelson Graves - winner of numerous awards at shows throughout the U.S. and Canada, including the Calgary Stampede Western Art Auction in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; The National Western Art Show at Ellensburg, WA; Spirit Of The West Show in Cheyenne, WY; The Equestrian's Eye Show in Lansing, MI; The Draft Horse Classic in CA; and many others. Patricia's work has been exhibited in several galleries and a number of private shows and she has done commissioned work for over 30 years.
Patricia works in a variety of mediums - oils, watercolor, colored and B/W pencil, photography, and has even dabbled in sculpture, having had one of her pieces reproduced as a resin model by a company in New York. Her artistic style ranges from photorealistic to impressionist. Subject matter, while generally equine art, has included everything from human portraits to a painting of an F- 14 fighter jet.
Three of her paintings featuring horses in Montana landscapes are available as LE color prints. Also available are several B/W prints - also LE editions - of wildlife and other Montana subjects. Recently her husband Ben has begun fabricating frames using reclaimed wood from old farmsteads, and this has led to another service offered by the Gallery - framing and matting.
Enjoy the site, and feel free to contact us about commisioned work or to order prints.
